So tired!
All 3 boys were tired tonight...Austin and Aiden had their 15 month check up and shots today, so of course that wore them out. And Landon - I think he was just tired from a full week! He was a little cranky off and on this afternoon and evening and ended up going to bed right after baths. I went back about 10 minutes later to check on him and take him water and he was already out...just like this....

You tell me...how sweet is that??? (If you look closely, you can tell that he is holding onto his stuffed monkey 'James' - so cute!)

Ouch!
When I got home from work tonight, Aiden greeted me at the door with a smile on his face...and two big scratches between his eyes on the bridge of his nose. Ouch! He was reaching for a book on the shelf, lost his balance and this was the result. Made my eyes water, but I guess he was a trooper and didn't cry too long!! Surprisingly, after washing in the bath, there didn't appear to be much of a bruise!
Check out those blue eyes...

Here's a picture of Austin from tonight - just playing by the door!

And Landon wanting to be in the picture when I trying to get Aiden, but as soon as he "thought" I was taking his picture, he was being all silly! Crazy Landon (who needs a haircut!)

Another fun evening at our house!!!
P.S. And we're taking a second look at a possible house for us on Thursday...wish us luck! :-)

Then I played around with the profile shot - I thought this was pretty sweet in black and white!

Happy Mother's Day
Today was a great day with my boys. The weather was beautiful, we had some fun times playing, they made me some great gifts at daycare (I love homemade things) and they even all 3 took a nap this afternoon! (Rare that Landon will nap anymore.) Here are some pictures of our fun...
It is very hard to get a good picture with all 3 these days...but here was our best shot!
Here are the great gifts I got. Landon made the purple box for me at "school." It was cute this week - he kept telling me bits and pieces about what he was making all week because I was asking him about his days...but he also knew it was a secret. It was cute to see him "get it" and tell me but not tell me what he was doing.

Just some fun shots from our day...

We didn't get to see our Mom's today, but were thinking of both my Mom Karen and mother-in-law Nancy today. So very thankful for both of you!!
And remembering all those mom's who have hurting hearts today. I've been there...it's hard. Mothers...who dream of being a mom but struggle with infertility and waiting...who have lost their precious children and are missing a part of their hearts...who have lost their mother and feel that loss. Saying a special prayer...

House
We love our house. Truly we do. But - we wish it were in the school district Dave teaches in, and outside of a subdivison. If that were the case, we'd never move. But...sometime after Landon was born, and really when I was pregnant with the twins, we decided we'd move. When we built this house, I wasn't even pregnant with Landon and at the time we didn't know if the future would include children, so we just went with a house we loved and weren't worried about location.
But now it's time. So, we worked hard for the last 2 months to clear things out and get it ready and finally listed our house on the market last Monday. Well - things moved quickly this week. We had 2 groups look at the house and received 2 offers on the house. And accepted one yesterday. We sold our house in less than a week!!!
Now, you are probably thinking..."that's great, Julie, so where are you moving to?" Well, I have no idea yet!!! We have to be out of this house by June 10th (ahhhh) and are looking at a house tomorrow to see if we like it. We pray that it will all work out, but believe it or not - even not knowing where I will be moving our 3 boys to in a few short weeks, I'm not all that stressed! YET! I'm sure it will hit soon enough and I'll worry about it then!
But in the meantime...we are just excited to be able to say we sold our house at about 98% of what we asked for it. We can say we are one of those people who sold their house in a week! (Of course, until we actually close, we still pray it will all go through!)
We will miss this house for sure, but are excited about a new to us place, hopefully with more room to run for the boys outside, in the country, and a place to call home for many more years to come! (Trust me - I told Dave I do NOT want to move again in 4 years. He said "isn't that what you told me when we moved here?" Oh yea - I forgot!)

Here are some pictures of our home for the past four and a half years. Parts will be bittersweet to leave - we brought all 3 boys home to this house. It is the only home they have ever known. But Landon is already excited about the idea of a new house...for what a 4 year old can understand!
Enjoy!

Lots of stuff!
Seems like we take so many pictures of just "stuff" the boys are doing, but they aren't really post worthy. So, I decided it's time for a post about "stuff." Here are just some pictures or collages of things we've done or pictures we've taken in the last couple of weeks! Enjoy!
Last weekend we had some really nice, warm weather. So we had some time outside...Here are some pictures of our fun. Summer is coming! :-)
Fun in the mulch. Austin and Aiden like copying what Landon does. As long as they do what Landon is doing, he's let's them play with him! Brotherly love!

Aiden getting busy 'mowing' the lawn....Austin hauling stuff.

Landon playing with his new 'gears.' Thanks Uncle Richard and Aunt Casey!

Opening his "Bendaroos" from Grandma and Grandpa Easterday. Landon was so excited! He had told Grandma that was what he wanted and he got them! They had fun playing with them!

Landon doesn't take naps at home much anymore...but last Saturday he couldn't stay awake any longer. How sweet is that?
Silly Austin. This (or something similar) is the face he makes when we get out the camera!!
