Teeth!
I've been trying and trying to get a picture of Aiden's teeth. They are getting bigger each day, but I finally captured his top ones in a picture today. Aiden is up to 6 that have broken through, and Austin now has his bottom two. They are growing TOO fast!!!! But oh so much fun!!!

Good Morning!
There are so many favorite times of day with the boys...but I would have to say my favorite is morning. Especially when they wake up happy, which is most days! I love hearing Landon call for me, or his footsteps across the loft as he's running out of his room. Or Austin and Aiden making their early morning coos as they wake up. Sometimes there is crying, sure, but most days are happy.
Here are a few pictures of a typical morning at our house.
Good Morning Landon (he beat me downstairs that day!)

Good Morning Austin!

Good Morning Aiden!

And now to Aiden!

What's new
Let's see...what's been happening at our house these days? Austin and Aiden still aren't mobile yet, which I am happy about...although they both really, really want to be mobile, so there is frustration! But I'm trying to enjoy the last few days/weeks of knowing they stay in one place when I put them there!!! And Landon's still a great big brother...but I don't think he knows what's coming once they are mobile!!!
Landon loves to cook. He's always asking if we can make cookies or something...or what he can do to help us. "Can I stir that?" "Can I pour that in?" "What can I do now?" Here are a few pictures from pizza making fun!! I love the concentration on his face in the second picture!!!
Aiden loves playing peek-a-boo. He's still doing it a lot and will try to do it with anything he is playing with. It's cute because he will put the book/burp rag/rattle behind his head with both hands, then look around to see if we are going to say peek-a-boo. It's so cute!! And he loves riding the "quad" - a daredevil in the making for sure!!!
Austin loves to stand. Aiden does, too, but Austin has the stongest (and straightest) legs. I really think he could stand for hours. I love when he's standing and turns around to give me a smile like in the first picture. So proud of himself!! And the toy he's holding in the second picture is his favorite! He's obsessed with holding it, especially when he's standing! He's so strong - it's a heavy toy!!!

A Year of CrockPotting
I can't even remember what blog I was reading where I came across this blog that they were following (does this sentence even make sense?)...but I love this idea. Never would I do it - I'm not that oganized - but I'm so excited to read what she has tried this year and try some of my own! I love using my crock pot and want to use it more...I'm inspired!!!
Never mind that I am using my crock pot today...but using a frozen Betty Crocker crock pot meal. Hey - alteast I'm using it!
Check it out.... A Year of Crock Potting ...YUMMY!

What I Cannot Change
Yes, another post for today! Now that I know how to do it I will probably share more videos on here! :) Anyway - this is a song by Leann Rimes that I heard at her concert a few weeks ago. It really touched me. There are so many things in my life - in my past or in the present - that I cannot change. But there are so many things I can. I try to remind myself to let go and love the things I cannot change...but also to change WHATEVER I CAN!!
Held
Here is a beautiful song by Natalie Grant. (Thanks for the idea to post, Keri!) It makes me think of the our angels, Devin and Elizabeth...and usually cry (in a good way). The lyric "how it feels when the sacred is torn from your life and you survive" really gets me. That's exactly what happened when I lost Devin and Elizabeth - my beliefs were shattered and there were days I wondered how and if I would survive. Somehow, I did.

Happy Halloween
The boys had a great Halloween!! Landon enjoyed trick-or-treating with all his cousins, and Austin and Aiden loved watching all the action. It was fun to watch Landon really "get it" this year - he did great saying trick-or-treat and thank you at each house. And we were really impressed with how well the twins did - they didn't make a sound the whole time - just enjoyed the stroller ride!
