My birthday
My birthday was on April 4th. I took the day off work since the boys were all in spring break and it was a nice day. We started out heading to breakfast at Cracker Barrel - can't go wrong with that! The boys were good, then Dave took them home while I went and did a little shopping! It was nice! At lunch, the boys were being silly...so of course, I took some pictures!

My boys and I...love!
Dave also spent some time outside getting more done with the bushes. For memory, I had to get some pictures of the dirt we used...and we bought a lot more!
Believe it or not, there ARE 500 2-3 foot privet hedges in this red bag! It's true!
A wagon Dave found at his dad's house that came in handy to pull behind the tractor.
And while Dave was working hard outside...the boys were chillin inside! I can't remember why the twins were wearing shorts - hard to say! :)
Enjoying some Chicken Little.
And of course - Aiden fell asleep - holding on tight to his Easter basket!
After dinner while I was doing dishes, Dave kept the boys entertained with flash cards!
They were all having fun!
Then the brought in my cake - the boys had to take a look!
Yum!
It was pretty solid!!!
The boys loved it...and so did I! Oreo crust, chocolate chip ice cream, hot fudge in the middle...YUM-O!
Aiden loved it!
Landon loved it!
I didn't get one of Austin - he ate some of it and liked it, but he's not a huge ice cream fan! It was a great birthday!

Stuff
Obviously, not a good title. On Sunday, 4/3 we had some fun at home. Starting out with the boys making my ice cream cake for the next day. Landon has wanted a specific flavor ice cream cake for months...so we decided to try to make it ourselves. Mine was the test cake. Here are the boys crushing up Oreos for the crust - yum!
Dave offering his "cooking advice" to the boys - ha!
This cracks me up - were they actually helping or just eating ice cream? You decide! :)
Then it was time to head outside. We had ordered 500 privet hedge bushes...yes, that is five hundred, no typo there...to plan around our perimeter. Here we are just getting started.
Dave marking where the holes will go - 1 foot apart.
The boys were good while we were getting things started - just running around in the back yard. I looked up at one point and they were all sitting on the step just talking and laughing!
Aiden running away from Landon.
Aiden will always stop to give me a smile! :)
Aiden climbing up the playset...smile! :)
The boys were crazy on the curly slide this day...up and down, up and down, up and down. I got some fun pictures and let's just say they were TIRED!
I just love seeing the grass green up!
Aiden and Austin taking a juice break.
And watching a tractor go by!
All 3 running over to see how dad is doing with the bushes!
And then they were so excited...our neighbor was doing some things in his field RIGHT by our house - seeing a tractor up close is so cool!
Wow!

Let's Shoot...and play outside!
NOTE: Seriously - I have no idea why the spacing is so messed up on my last few posts. I keep trying new things and they keep ending up all funny. Sorry it's hard to read! Saturday, April 2nd was a pretty normal, relaxing Saturday. We didn't do much - but we did... ...Take time time to shoot baskets! These two love to shoot baskets - and can hit quite a few shots - and play catch of any kind!
...And we spent some time outside - yippee!
Austin loves his John Deere Gator and pedal tractor!!!
Aiden loves climbing up the playset!
And Aiden loves taking naps...with his toys close by!
We even ran - literally - over at Grandma Day's house for a bit in the afternoon. There they go...
Dave and Landon checking out their walking paths.
It's hard to see, but Aiden was running towards me so fast! Cute!
And there goes Austin - trying to show daddy something. They love to run!!
Oh no - Austin has a sword! Watch out!
I love being outside with the boys! Come on spring!

Grandparents
My parents stopped by to visit in 4/1 and it was good to see them. The boys were excited and kept busy the whole time! Austin showing off his potty chart!
Aiden showing off his potty chart! These two are taking their time with potty training, but we are slowly seeing progress!!
There was Lego building, of course! Thanks for the Lego's grandma!
And Lego's with Grandpa...thanks!
And hoodies for the twins and I...aren't they cute? (Boys and hoodies - ha!)
And of course reading books!
