Paint

Sunday Dave decided it would be a painting day. When we moved into this house, most of the walls were either covered with wallpaper or some AWFUL sponge painting!!! Dave tackled one of the wallpapered rooms (the downstairs bathroom) with two more to go - eventually.

And he's tackled most of the sponge painting. The task for Sunday - the entry way. The challenge - the two story entrance. I was going to help him with ladders and such...but then I hear "if the boys will let you paint, you can do trim down low while I paint up here!" Luckily I had played some games with the boys already...it was rainy, so no going outside...and Austin was a little sick, so a lazy day for them was okay!

Here is how the spent some time while we painted!!!

A little later...still up high! Yikes!!! I was glad I was given the job down low!


But it looks So...Much...BETTER!!! Here is a progress shot - you can see the sponge painting. This picture definitely doesn't show how awful it was! All that is left of this awful painting is the upstairs hallway - Yippee!!!!

More paint...and ice cream!

Let's Paint!

Sunday, the 17th. Just a day. I looked over at one point and All 3 boys were looking at books...and Aiden in a silly position!


Landon spent some time building with his Legos! Cool!


Then it was time to paint! Aiden had been asking for a while to paint but I kept forgetting to get new paint and brushes! Then I realized the twins are 3 and a half and we had never painted at home! I felt bad because I did it with Landon much sooner - but they do get to paint at school! So we headed to the store that morning and found some paper, paints and brushes. Here they are patiently waiting for their colors!
