Outside Fun

The weather this week has been just beautiful and of course it's been great to get outside! Last year it didn't seem like we were outside much at all. In the spring, I was back to work after having the twins and summer was pretty hot, so I'm looking forward to more time outside this year. The twins were funny - they didn't want to have anything to do with the grass. You would have thought I put them down on needles! Hopefully as the grass really comes in and is cut it will soften up...although they should be walking anytime now, which will help!

Here are some pictures of our fun the last couple of evenings....

Some pictures of Landon (below)...he is getting harder and harder to take pictures of...he always tell me "no, don't take my picture." In the picture in the middle of the collage he was telling me how big something was...I can't remember now what it was, but it was cute!

Aiden (below) loved being up on the platform of our play "thing" outside and of course, going down the slide. It won't be long until he is climbing up the ladder and the slide ladder by himself. He loved the steering wheel and the sand...altough all he wanted to do was chew on the shovels!

Austin (below) loved being outside, too. And boy did he love the sand! He kept picking it up and letting it fall through his fingers. And he also kept trying to "drink" it. I can't put cups of any kind in the bath tub because they will drink the bath water...well, the sand was the same. Luckily I caught him before he downed it, but it was funny!

Here are a few shots of the twins in their wagon, stroller and at the sand table together. Fun Fun!

And this one isn't outside, but I thought it was so cute! Landon was trying to show the boys how to count cheerios with the Cheerios book. Landon kept getting frustrated because all they wanted to do was either eat them (Austin) or wipe them away (Aiden). But it was a neat "teaching" moment from Landon! (Plus their matching shirts are cute!)

Good pictures. Austin looks like he's really concentrating on the cup of sand...that's a cute picture.

I'm so jealous of the big FENCED yard!
