County Fair - July 15

Yes, it's August 8th and I'm just now posting about our things from mid-July! One day I will be more on-time...I hope!

Anyway, back on July 15th we made a trip to the Hamilton County Fair. The boys had a good morning visit...and that was just about enough time! We'll see how they do at the state fair!!! They loved seeing the tractors - here is Aiden with one he liked!

Austin found a yellow one, of course!

Checking out some older models!

Another one Aiden wanted his picture with!

And Austin liked this one!

This was Landon's favorite - he really, really wanted to climb up in there!!!

Walking through the pig barn...they were not impressed with the smell!

Aiden liked the chickens!

This cracks me up - between the smells and the sounds - they did NOT like the animal barns! Although we did run into Landon's kindergarten teacher with the Pygmy goats - her kids had animals at the fair! It was nice to see her!

Dave's Grandma Young was very active in 4-H for a lot of years! They have a bench in her memory and we got a picture of the boys on it. I was impressed with their smiles!

After lunch, it was time for a treat! We all shared a few vanilla/chocolate milkshakes...that you had to eat with a spoon! Yum!

Landon really wanted to see the rabbits, but we were there during the rabbit show. So this was as close as we could get. The boys watched them from outside for quite a while!

This was their favorite - he was named "Optimus Prime" (from Transformers)! Go figure!!!

Time to head home!

Then it was time to cool off in the sprinkler ball! A few years ago, Uncle Ryan got this for a b-day party for Brad so the little boys had something to play in. Since ours were the youngest we got to take it home. I forgot about it last year, so we broke it out this year and it was fun!

They loved to cover all the holes where water comes out....

...then let go and RUN!

It was a great summer day!!!
