Wednesday 2.2.11

Here we are at snow day #2. The entire state almost was shut down during this week. It was crazy and kind of fun to have these days at home. I even had to change my travel schedule and got to be home pretty much the entire week with the boys. It was great!

Check out the layer of ice that was outside!!!


The boys were going a little stir crazy...so Dave dug out a box of his old toys from the attic. The boys were so excited when he brought it down - they could hardly pick up their other toys they were so excited!


Checking out the loot...there were old games, old motorcycles (that we had bought when Evan and Justin were toddlers so we had toys for them!!!), a few Lego's and other fun stuff! It's kept them entertained for days now!


Landon was beyond thrilled to find some Lego's he could do. It was a Harry Potter set and he did it in less than an hour. This boys LOVES Lego's!!!

And this is what Dave did off and on all day...or tried to. Between the ice and then snow that was coming down, he wasn't having much luck. This was the day we thought we would for sure lose power...but we managed to get through the entire week with power!

All the new stuff and weather wore Aiden out...isn't he sweet?

Landon found time to watch some Transformers! He loves them...the old shows from the 80's/90's...the new shows...the movies! Love them!

And I even got to snuggle with this little guy (Aiden). He woke up a bit fussy, so I picked him up and he went right back to sleep!! That doesn't happen to often...so I loved that!

I was trying to remember where Austin was at this point...and I remember this was a day he really wasn't feeling good. I could tell he needed to sleep, but he just wouldn't settle in anywhere...not in his bed, not on my lap, not watching TV. Dave had been upstairs watching some TV so I took Austin up to daddy...and he was asleep in about 10 minutes!!! I remember that Dave eventually put him in his bed...and when Austin woke up about 30 minutes later, I could see on the monitor he was looking around like "how did I get in my bed." The nap helped all around!
