He had a great day - just take a look!
Landon's birthday fell on a Saturday this year - notice in this first picture it is 6:10 a.m. I have to wake Landon up for school 90% of the time around 6:10 each day - but on a weekend, I'm lucky if he stays in bed until 6:10!
Here's Landon checking out his presents - and wondering why they are up so high!
Patiently waiting for the others to wake up - he and I watched some Transformers that morning.
So - while he was waiting he decided to start the Legos he got from Grandma Day the night before. (Note - his new thing is trying to stick out his tongue just as I snap the picture. Nice!)
FINALLY - everyone else is up! Landon and Austin were both excited!! Aiden was still waking up in the background!
Dave found the perfect Transformers card for Landon - Optimus Prime was talking to him at this point! I don't think the boys really knew what to think!
Time for presents! Actually, you will notice in some of these he is in his PJ's and others he is dressed. We actually split it up a bit - he opened half the presents, then we all got ready and went to breakfast at Lincoln Square just down the road. They were all starving and did a great job. Then we came home and finished opening presents.

Austin just patiently watching!
Time to play! The twins got Transformers for their birthday that talk and transform with the push of a button. Landon finally got one of his own for his birthday!
Landon also got a model for his birthday. It is supposed to be a snap together, but the first few pieces didn't want to stay. We need some model glue to finish it! That reminds me - I better get that for him! Oops! ;-)
Mom and Landon - can't believe he is 6!!
Such a silly boy! Ready to start Legos!
Aiden and Austin had to watch...for a little bit anyway!
Finished his first "3 in 1" Legos. That was all he wanted - 3 in 1 Legos and he got a few different kinds. He loves to put Legos together! I can't tell you how many times he has taken them apart and put them all back together in the month since his birthday! Loves to follow the directions, so 3 in 1's are perfect for him!
That afternoon a package arrived from Grandma and Grandpa Easterday and Aunt Suze. The twins even had a gift in there - opening their Hot Wheels semi's from Aunt Suze and Uncle Josh. They LOVED them!
Landon had fun peeking out to see his package - with his name on it - and then opening all the presents! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa...and Aunt Suze and Uncle Josh!

Then - the Stevens' crew came by to bring more presents and fun! It was a beautiful day, so we pulled Landon away from Legos and played outside! Here Uncle Dave is showing all the boys (Landon, Austin, Aiden, Trent, Nate and Blake) how the obstacle course will go. They were so excited!
Time to go....watch out!
