Cousins

We headed south one day for a play date with cousins and a chance to get the boys out and about. We played with Trent, Nate and Blake and then enjoyed lunch! Here's the crew...

Then we headed over to Deb's house to play with Grant - Makayla is back in school, so he was ready to play! And I needed to see the babies nursery and Makayla's new room! I love them both - lots of pink!

The boys had fun...they were all cracking up when playing with this toy!

Then it was time to dress-up....Iron Man (Austin), Super Why, or Wally as Aiden kept saying, Batman (Grant) and Wolverine (Landon).

Crazy boys!

Isn't Aiden cute???

Austin was in love with the Iron Man helmet and accessories!

And of course there was wrestling!!! They had a lot of fun!

Boys being boys! Makes me nervous...but so much fun!

More outside

I can't believe it's June 24th and I'm posting about something that happened on June 4th! Maybe if I get a better home computer one day I can keep up more regularly! Right now I download pictures to my home computer and then use my work computer to upload them - but I don't always mess with our slow home computer! Oh well - since this is mainly for my own memory, it guess it works!

So Saturday, June 4th was just a day at home. Dave went to his sister's house to help with a garage sale, so the boys and I spent some time outside, mainly in the morning when it was a little cooler! Here goes Landon and Austin on their bikes!

Way to go Austin!

Aiden is full of big thumbs ups!

Landon found a "beattle bug" and the boys just kept watching and watching it!

Parking their "cars" in their "garage" by the materials!

We decided since their table was in the shade, we would have a picnic outside!! Hopefully we can have a lot of these this summer!

Yippee - Steven's here!

The boys were so excited when I told them their cousin Steven was coming to visit! On Saturday, May 7th - we had some fun!

Here are the boys having fun already - I think Steven had been in the house about 10 minutes - they were ready to play!

At lunch, Steven was making the boys laugh! Landon always cracks up when Steven is around - I had to get a picture!

Time to go outside of course! Steven was in love with the Gator!!!

Go Steven Go!

Sweet Austin - look at those blue eyes!

Aiden and Mommy!!! Aiden has such a sweet smile!

Austin taking a water break with Aunt Suze!

There goes Aiden and Steven!

I don't remember what they were doing, but I remember Steven and Landon were cracking up under the tree!

I really wanted a picture of all the boys but Austin didn't want to get in the picture. And by this point they were all really being silly!!! I can't believe Landon and Steven are 6! Seems like just yesterday I took Landon to meet Steven when Landon was only 3 weeks old!

Getting ready for Easter

As you can imagine, I have a lot of pictures for Easter! Here is what we did the day before...

...first, we had to color our eggs! This year I got a set of color/cups for each boy! That helped a lot!!!

It's so nice that it's getting easier and easier for group activities!

Just some more flower pics!

And the day wouldn't be complete without a nap for Aiden in a crazy position! Landon had to get in the picture, too!

Of course, we had to take some posed pictures! The boys all dressed up and showing off the bunnies they made (twins) and tie for the parade (Landon).

All dressed up, ready for Easter dinner at Aunt Sarah's house! Aiden (3), Landon (6), Austin (3)

As the adults were getting things ready for the egg hunt, Aunt Sarah kept the kids entertained with a story, a song and coloring! They were all listening!

Then it was time to hunt eggs...Aiden getting his first one! (you might notice there are a few more pictures of Aiden...I had the camera and was hanging with Aiden! We had fun!)

The older kids trying to be patient and wait their turns! We gave the little ones a head start!

Here comes Landon - he did great!

Aiden finding some more goodies!

Austin was so proud of his sucker from the Easter Bunny! Look at that smile!

See? Isn't he cute? Austin was the only one of the boys to talk to the bunny! (This was Uncle Bob - great job!)

Aiden was being very serious showing me his stuff!

Big smiles from Aiden!

The big kids had fun, too - Evan and Justin!

Smile for mommy...Aiden and Austin! Aren't they cute?

Yes, I made them pose again!! Silly boys!

There they go!!

Silly Aiden - being pushed on a rocking chair thing! Look at those dirty knees! He had fun.

After the fun and baths, we had to get stuff ready for the Easter Bunny to come! We left him carrots, of course! :) They were so excited...and so tired!

Landon's 6th Birthday

As you can imagine, Landon was pretty excited for his 6th birthday! Of the 5 of us, he is the "LAST ONE" with a birthday - as he sees it - so it felt like a long time coming. We celebrate the twins birthday and Dave's in February, then mine just a few days before Landon's.

He had a great day - just take a look!

Landon's birthday fell on a Saturday this year - notice in this first picture it is 6:10 a.m. I have to wake Landon up for school 90% of the time around 6:10 each day - but on a weekend, I'm lucky if he stays in bed until 6:10!

Here's Landon checking out his presents - and wondering why they are up so high!

Patiently waiting for the others to wake up - he and I watched some Transformers that morning.

So - while he was waiting he decided to start the Legos he got from Grandma Day the night before. (Note - his new thing is trying to stick out his tongue just as I snap the picture. Nice!)

FINALLY - everyone else is up! Landon and Austin were both excited!! Aiden was still waking up in the background!

Dave found the perfect Transformers card for Landon - Optimus Prime was talking to him at this point! I don't think the boys really knew what to think!

Time for presents! Actually, you will notice in some of these he is in his PJ's and others he is dressed. We actually split it up a bit - he opened half the presents, then we all got ready and went to breakfast at Lincoln Square just down the road. They were all starving and did a great job. Then we came home and finished opening presents.

Austin just patiently watching!

Time to play! The twins got Transformers for their birthday that talk and transform with the push of a button. Landon finally got one of his own for his birthday!

Landon also got a model for his birthday. It is supposed to be a snap together, but the first few pieces didn't want to stay. We need some model glue to finish it! That reminds me - I better get that for him! Oops! ;-)

Mom and Landon - can't believe he is 6!!

Such a silly boy! Ready to start Legos!

Aiden and Austin had to watch...for a little bit anyway!

Finished his first "3 in 1" Legos. That was all he wanted - 3 in 1 Legos and he got a few different kinds. He loves to put Legos together! I can't tell you how many times he has taken them apart and put them all back together in the month since his birthday! Loves to follow the directions, so 3 in 1's are perfect for him!

That afternoon a package arrived from Grandma and Grandpa Easterday and Aunt Suze. The twins even had a gift in there - opening their Hot Wheels semi's from Aunt Suze and Uncle Josh. They LOVED them!

Landon had fun peeking out to see his package - with his name on it - and then opening all the presents! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa...and Aunt Suze and Uncle Josh!

Then - the Stevens' crew came by to bring more presents and fun! It was a beautiful day, so we pulled Landon away from Legos and played outside! Here Uncle Dave is showing all the boys (Landon, Austin, Aiden, Trent, Nate and Blake) how the obstacle course will go. They were so excited!

Time to go....watch out!

Trying on an outfit from the Tusing's! He loves it - thank you!

The day was kind of strange, so we actually gave the boys their bath before we did birthday cake! I love Landon's smile here - and all clean after bath! So cute!

Landon was cute while we all sang...then blew out his candles!

Patiently waiting for Dad to cut the ice cream cake - yum!!

Landon loved it!

So did Aiden! (Austin's not an ice cream fan - too cold!)

After ice cream cake, we watched a movie. Landon got the first and second Transformers movie so we watched the 2nd one!

He had a great day...love you birthday boy!!!
