Austin

I don't want to forget what Austin said today. The boys have all been sick this week, and today I had Austin and Landon home with me. Austin is becoming so much more talkative and the things he says are hilarious. Like tonight after dinner he was crying and Dave asked why and he says "those guys (meaning Aiden and Landon) jumped on me back." That is exactly what happened but I thought it was cute how he said "those guys."

Anyway - back to today - Austin had been pretty quiet all day, but I started hearing him say to Landon "want to play with me, La La?" It was very cute - but Landon wasn't interested.

So, he started asking me! I'm lucky I get to work from home sometimes and while I couldn't work a full day, I had a few things to get done. So I told him in about 5 minutes - I just had one more thing to do. He said okay and ran off.

Well, EXACTLY 5 minutes later, and I'm not exaggerating - Austin comes over to me and in a very dramatic fashion says "mommy you are taking longer and longer and longer." Shoulders slouched, pouty face and everything. It was adorable and so sweet.

Of course - I quickly wrapped up what I was doing, turned off the computer and we were off to play monster trucks!!!
