Our boys along with the Tusing boys were the first there that day, so they had to do some work at first! Grandpa Day had brought some pumpkins from up north to fill up the patch, so they had to unload them.
Austin and Aiden were ready to go...or just sit and watch... (of course Austin is in the drivers seat! That boy is obsessed!)
Pumpkins are loaded...let's go!
Where's Brad? Oh, there he is...
That's a full load in Justin's arms!!! Good thing he's strong and the boys sit still! Thanks for being a great older cousin! And Evan, our oldest nephew, driving! How can he be that big??
Landon modeling on a big pumpkin in the patch. This might be the one he ended up picking - I'm not sure!
Evan said he felt like a giant when he found this tiny little pumpkin! :)
Brad with two little pumpkins - so happy!
Now there's a crew...left to right...Austin, Aiden, Grant and Justin. Nice attitude, J! :)
When it's time to pick pumpkins, they all draw numbers. Of course, they all want to be first. This year, Aiden drew #1!! He was a little intimidated by being first - everyone was watching and ready for their turn. Aiden gets this cute, shy look on his face when he's on the spot. Once he got in the patch, he went right to work. Good job Aiden! That's a heavy pumpkin!
So heavy!!!
Thanks to a little help from Grandpa, he's moving again!
Checking out his choice...
Say cheese!!! (not his best smile, but we had been working on smiling on command and he was really concentrating!)

Landon's turn...I think he was number 6 (or 9 - one of those two numbers). He was ready! Look at that HUGE pumpkin! Good choice, Landon.
Now the rule is if they pick it, they have to get the pumpkin out of the patch on their own (for the most part). Go Landon Go!!
He got it! Look at that big smile! :)
Sweet boy!
And now Austin's turn. Someone has to go last and this year, Austin was number 11. Luckily when he pulled out that number, he is too young to know that meant he was last! It was funny - by the time it got to his turn, he lost track of his slip of paper with the number 11 on it. Well, he thought he had to have that to go in! It took me a minute to figure out what he was talking about but he kept telling me something about his number...his paper. Finally we convinced him he didn't need it and he was on to pick his pumpkin! Good job, Austin! He found one!
