Thanksgiving 2010

I cannot believe Thanksgiving is over already - where is this year going? I ended up having to work the Wednesday before, but Dave was home with all 3 boys and they had fun.

These first two pictures are from that evening....the boys really like helping in the kitchen when I'm baking. And now that they are getting older, can follow directions well and can each stand on a chair and be careful - it's so much easier to have them help! We had a pumpkin pie in the oven, then made fruit salad and banana pudding - yum!

That day, Austin was the only one to take a nap, which is rare. Usually it's Aiden. We should have known what was to come...you know he's tired when he can fall asleep like this:

Now here we are at Thanksgiving morning...our day went something like this:

There was a craft project (we each colored and cut out a turkey of our very own):

We even got Dad to give it a try!

Landon's turn...

Followed by breathing treatments for Austin. Yes, it's a holiday so of course we have a sick child!! The afternoon even ended with a trip to the doctor for Austin to be checked out. He was having a little bit of rapid breathing, so bring on the breathing treatments and a steroid. And I'm glad we had him checked out - he actually had a double ear infection!! Poor guy! Even with all that, he still slept well all weekend!

Then it was time to eat...Austin said he didn't want to eat, but he did manage to eat 4 rolls while sitting on Dave's lap! :-) YUM!

Aiden was quite excited about lunch!

Landon isn't much for Thanksgiving food, but he did love the fruit salad, rolls and pickles! :)

Austin and daddy

Like I said - Aiden was excited! Silly boy!

We ended the day with our two pilgrims and an Indian! So cute!

Being silly...

Our little "Deer Tracks" - this was the Indian name Landon picked out at school. Cute!
