Landon's Field Trip

May 18th - Landon missed his first kindergarten field trip in the fall when he was sick. So there was no way we were going to miss this one! I was lucky and got to go on the trip with him! I'm not sure who was more excited!!! This trip 4 kindergarten classes headed to the State Fair Grounds to learn about farm animals and farm life. Unfortunately, it was a little rainy, but not terrible.

We were the first ones to arrive at school...of course I had to take Landon's picture!


I thought Landon was going to sit with me on the bus - but on the day down he sat across from me with his friends! Smile! (Lexi, Michael, Landon) Landon did sit with me on the way home! :)

He would NOT get close to this big horse!!! He was the only one in his class who was timid around the animals.

Then it was time to walk through the Little Hands section. Here is Landon holding up the tomato he picked.

Waiting to plant a tomato seed. We have it at home and it's sprouting - hopefully we get some tomatoes this summer - YUM!

Everyone was ready for lunch - it had been a busy morning!

The whole class - it was a great day!

We got out of school just a little early and had some time to kill before Austin and Aiden would be awake at their school and ready to go. So - we made a little stop at DQ! Landon enjoyed his Star kiss!

Yum! And I enjoyed an ice cream cone...dipped in chocolate, of course!

It was a great day! I can't wait for more field trips with Landon and someday soon, Austin and Aiden!
