4th of July

When we woke up on the 4th of July in our tent, it was raining. Not hard, but raining and did for most of the morning. So none of us were sure if we'd go to the Sheridan parade or not. But - the boys had been looking forward to it, so we decided to go!

We didn't get many pictures, but the boys enjoyed the sites. The biggest challenge was getting candy!! With the twins being the smallest cousins (for a few more weeks), they haven't quite figured out that if they want candy, they need to be QUICK!! Their cousins are fast, fast, fast! :-)

We hung out in Sheridan at Grandma and Grandpa's house for a while. As the Stevens family was leaving, all of a sudden Nancy came in with a panicked look on her face. Allison and I are like "what's going on" and we hear her say "Chad hit a tree" or something like that. We are both like "what are you talking about...Chad hit a tree???"

Sure enough - Chad hit a tree! (Sorry Chad!) Here is Nate holding the flag that Chad was moving when he ran off the driveway and hit a tree.
