Our backyard had a really nice swing built in. But when the previous owner put in the play set, you couldn't comfortable sit on the swing and see the boys playing. Plus, in the evenings the swing was facing the sun, so it wasn't the most comfortable place to sit in the heat or even just the sun.
So Dave thought we should move the swing. I wasn't sure - it's such a nice swing - but it was a good idea. On July 9th, it was time to get started! Dave has already started digging out the posts, but they were buried a little deeper than he thought.

I'm not sure what he was doing here, but he's rigging up something!
Doesn't he look like a construction worker with his hard hat on? It was hot out, too!
The boys thought playing in the water table in the shade was a good idea!
Aiden got in trouble at some point and ended up in the house taking a nap. Then Landon and Austin decided they would like to help with the project.

Filling in holes is hard work!
Landon worked really hard to fill in the deep holes!

Austin's shovel was pretty small, but kept at it for a bit!

While they were doing that, I thought the flowers under the tree needed some help. They were covered in weeds! Here's before...

And after! Much better!

Watch for more pictures of the completed swing project! They are still on the camera! ;-)
