This week the twins are learning all about the letter G at preschool. So their class did some Gingerbread decorating, but instead of using gingerbread cookies or houses, they decorated "gingerbread" trees! I thought it was a cute idea - they used upside down sugar cones and I think it was pretty easy for the kids to do! When they got home on Wednesday, they really just wanted to play outside, but I made them pose for a few pictures...notice how bright the sun was - sorry guys!
Another shot when they aren't squinting - ha!
Didn't they do a great job? Austin's are on the left, Aiden's are on the right. I think it's so interesting to see how Austin used more frosting and just their different interpretations. They do not sit at the same table for activities, so it's always interesting to see how things vary a bit - I'm not sure if it's just them - or what those at their table are doing that influence them more. Either way they both did a great job!
Close up of Austin's trees. Austin wasn't interested in any more pictures with his creation, or in eating it. He's not a fan of frosting, so once the candy was coated in that he didn't want it. Lucky for Landon that meant he got some!
Close up of Aiden's handy work!
Aiden made sure he came inside a few times while he was playing outside to have another piece of candy. He kept asking me "can I have just one more?" How could I say no? He also knows that I send a lot of pictures to Grandma Easterday, so as soon as I took this picture, he said "can you send that to Grandma?" so I did! He was pretty proud!
