Bed

The other night, I was out working out on the treadmill after the boys went to bed. I had told them that I would be gone in the morning when they woke up - I had to leave early for work - and usually they are fine, no problem. I just like to prepare them for the next day. This particular night, Austin and Landon were fine, but Aiden was having trouble with this concept. I went up twice before I went outside to work out and both times he asked me over and over if I had left yet, when was I leaving, when would I be home. No tears - just questions.

So after Dave had to go up a few more times, he was trying to come up with a way to get him to go to sleep. For Christmas, they got some play guns that have flashlights on them. So he gave Aiden one of those to keep in bed with him in case he needed to get out of bed - and Aiden did a few more times using the flashlight and finally went to sleep.

Now the new thing is both twins have to sleep with a big camo gun in their bed. It's one of those things I just have to laugh at! Austin used his one morning when he had to go to the bathroom - so they are functional - but let me tell you it sure looks strange to check on them at night with a big plastic camo gun laying next to them!

Here's Austin - notice the brown camo gun by the wall/brown curtains.

Austin again. Such a silly boy!

And here's Aiden - I guess if it helps!!!

Aiden again!

Landon doesn't need one - he has a night light in his room, but I had to go in and get a picture of him sleeping!! It's a little blurry - but I love pictures of the boys sleeping!
