Bedtime!

I've been looking for a picture of Landon in his bed where you can see the railing - but I can't find one today. Anyway - the bed Landon uses is rather tall - it was Dave's bed growing up. So he's had a bed rail on it ever since he moved into his big boy bed...oh - 4 years ago! Yes, I said 4 years!!! But - being so high, there was no rush to take the railing off.

Well, maybe a year ago it got a hole in it and it's just gotten bigger and bigger. We didn't really think much of it - even when sometime last year I walked in and his legs were out of it but he was still asleep. But on Friday night, he was joking around and stuck his head through it - and we explained why that was bad - but it got us thinking it was probably safer to have him fall out of it than keep a railing with a large hole in it on his bed! (And even though he was awake and playing - it never happened while he was sleeping.)

Of course, I had to take some pictures! The boys hanging out with Dad before bed...getting a drink of water!

Landon was excited!!!! He talked about it all day Saturday. And we figured since we have these soft bean bags, it was a good way to use them as a soft landing just in case!!!!

Being silly...

Good night!! (He was just pretending to sleep - ha!) So far, so good. Two nights and he hasn't fallen out! Let's hope it stays that way!!! And it's amazing - his room just looks more like a big kids room without the railing on his bed!!!

Of course, I had to take a picture of Austin and Aiden in their beds, too!!! Good night, boys!
