I love all the new crock pot recipes linked up to Kelly's Korner - and decided to add this recipe. I got it from my friend Tricia a few years ago (Thanks Tricia - super delicious!) and it's a go-to favorite around here! My young boys who are picky about meat will even eat it because it's so tender!!!
It's super easy and super delicious - just wish I had a picture! Here you go:
Pizza Pork Chops
4-6 boneless pork chops
Salt and pepper
Chopped onion (as much as you like - I use frozen diced onion a lot and it works great and so fast!)
1 jar spaghetti sauce
Orzo pasta
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Note: You can brown the pork chops first, but I rarely do this.
*Salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops and place in the bottom of your crock pot.
*Sprinkle onions over top of the pork chops.
*Pour jar of spaghetti sauce over pork chops and onions.
*Cover and cook 4 hours on high, or 6-8 hours on low.
*When ready to eat, cook Orzo pasta according to package directions.
*Place pasta on plate, then scoop out desired amount of pork chops and sauce. (Note - meat will usually fall apart! So tender!)
*Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and enjoy!!!!
Delicious with some bread and a salad! :)
