Back to School

Monday, August 22 - a new school year starts! It was Landon's first day of First Grade - how is that possible? Austin and Aiden started back to daycare/preschool, and it was also Dave's first teacher day. Lots of action that morning! Here are some pictures!1

And of course - they had to have lunch boxes this year! They were so proud to take their lunch to school like Landon does sometimes!

Landon learned how to tie his shoes over the summer!

We have lots of silly faces these days when we try to take pictures! I get frustrated when I'm trying to get a good pictures, but then when I look at their expressions, it cracks me up! I'll have to pull some old pictures from all the first day of school shots to compare - I can't believe how much they have grown - even just over the summer!

Time to load up and head to Landon's school - silly boys!

It was super sunny - had to wear shades!

There he goes!! It's hard to see, but Landon turned around and looked at us with a big smile! He's grown up so much - and had a great first day of school! After this, I dropped the twins off at their school and they had a great day, too!

After school, the twins were waiting for Landon to get off the bus. It's a tricycle parade!

And here comes Landon's bus! He's on Bus #2 again with the same driver, so that is nice. And this year he was only about 25 minutes later than his usual time on the first day - not bad!

That evening, Dave had to head back to school for his Meet the Teacher night, so the boys and I spent some time outside after dinner. The boys love to walk on this wall and are pretty good!

And here comes Austin - of course on the Gator!

The corn is so pretty looking right now - all green and it's so tall! I wanted to get a comparison shot of how tall it was compared to the boys. They were excited because we never let them get that close to the field! :)

It was a great first day for all 3 boys and so far, the first 2 weeks have gone very well. Now I can't wait to get into each class and spend a little time!
